All About Us
LTE inc was incorporated in September 2004, by me and my
arranger/producer Joe Turner. Joe and I met in 2002 when I was
introduced to him by my friend Dominic D'Arcy. I wanted to begin
recording some of my songs and get some studio experience. At that
time I was just 14 with a notebook full of songs and what seemed like
thousands of ideas.
Joe and I began to write together and in 2003 we produced my first EP
entitled Live No Lies. I can't tell you how thrilled I was to have my very
own CD ... and for Joe and I, it was the beginning of a beautiful
relationship!
In the music business these days it's all about Indie man, and how you
take on the business professionally. Joe and I and the rest of our team
wanted to make sure that we approached it that way. Joe's business
knowledge exceeds mine...but I'm learning! He has worked with some
fabulous artists as well as producing countless television shows,
documentaries and films featuring his music....and he knows how to
run a business.
We have known each other now for 5 years and never a day goes by
that Joe and I don't talk...either on the phone or by email, about the
business in some way. In a business that's tough to turn over cash ...
Joe has been very, very successful.
In the end and from the beginning though, it was our passion for music
that made the songwriting and studio experience so fabulous for both
of us. Joe is such a pro when he works and he makes his artists feel
that they can do anything!
Joe and I have been lucky enough to work with some great
songwriters and musicians....and back to the business for a moment
... with some wonderful Internet mentors! Andy Moffatt at Keshet
Technologies Inc took me from teeny, weeny baby steps to taking on
the world right here!
For the time being, LTE inc is focusing on my music which can be
defined as Country/Pop/Rock. From the very beginning the comments I
heard about my voice, over and over were, "wow ...you're completely
unique... you don't sound like anyone else!"
Now you may think that that's a good thing ...but in the hard, cold world
of the music business... sounding unlike anyone else is a hard sell!!
But let me tell you who I've been compared with ...and I'll take it gladly.
Alanis...from my home town, Michelle Branch, The Wreckers ...I love
'em ...and Stevie Nicks...she does rock!
LTE inc is about taking my sound and riding on the great big sea of
music...and one day I hope to work with other artists who I believe are
different.
The 'No Regrets" project is my great joy. I have lived and learned so
much during its production and I believe that Joe and I and our team
have created something very special.
