Everyone Told You Everyone Told You, is the very first song I recorded with Joe! This song says everything I was feeling at that time. I wanted to write a song about exactly what was happening to me in school, at home and with my friends, family and boyfriend. To be truthful ...I was really tired of everyone talking for me, and about how I was feeling... and I knew that they didn't have a clue! I had found my voice though my music and I hated it when people wouldn't let me use it. Everyone Told You also reflects the kind of frustration I felt dealing with a relationship that I just didn't want to be in anymore. Sometimes you just have to be blunt and set people straight... haha. You can really hear the kind of chemistry Joe and I have when we work together... this song is where it all began.
