Tension Tension is an interesting track. I wrote it after I’d been through a long period of just not being able to write at all. I had a terrible case of writers block. The song is about that whole experience, feeling like I couldn’t put my words into music and at the same time going through a rough period with certain issues in my career. You go through so many difficulties when your struggling to achieve your goals and I’ve always had a problem with aiming to high and setting these extreme goals for myself that seem impossible to achieve. I’m just like that I guess. “Tension” is a song that describes the way I feel when I push myself too hard. I have found that sometimes I’ve just gotta slow down and take my time...and sometimes that’s not all that easy to do!
